CARRIE HOUSHOUR

Secretary

Hi, my name is Carrie Houshour. I am 37 years old, born and raised in Bloomington Indiana. I have resided in Bedford Indiana since 2007. I started my career in 2004 working for CRF First Choice. I have been in management since 2009. I have worked for multiple companies over the years and I have had the privilege to care for some pretty amazing people. I am now a Program Manager for Rescare and supervise over three counties. I myself have a nephew on the spectrum, so I know first hand how much parents struggle to get the help they need. I hope we as a team are able to help take some of that pressure and stress off of you parents.

JACKIE EICHEM

Treasurer

My name is Jackie Eichem and this is my 12th year as a Special Education Teacher (5th year with NLCS).  I have a son with autism so I understand the challenges you, as parents/guardians, go through on a daily basis.  Once my son had received his diagnosis, it was at that point that I left the nursing program and went into Special Education.   It’s been a passion of mine ever since.
I am passionate about being part of Southern Indiana Resources for Autism.  It will give me the opportunity to engage with parents/guardians and guide them in locating resources designed for their child’s needs.  I am looking forward to working with families and getting to know them on a personal level.

KELLI SANDERSON (SHE/HER)

Media Manager

Kelli Sanderson is a founding member of Southern Indiana Resource for Autism, Inc. She started the non-profit to meet a need she saw in the community. As a late diagnosed woman with Autism, raising two Autistic children, she sees the lack of community and easily accessible resources and aims to change that.

Kelli has been with her husband Nick since 2006, fosters for the local animal shelter, is involved in Girl Scouts and a civil rights advocate. In her spare time she enjoys reading fantasy and singing.
